I think I am still missing the h565… I have all the other core sizes but this.

Funny how they’re protecting the tip of a double knock pencil

If you drop it on a rough or hard surface, you can still dent / gouge / scratch the rim of the tip.:bulb:

Who would let a pencil fall off a table? Wait I dropped my phone.

You just don’t drop your pencil.

If at all possible, you should always protect your tip.

Ironically, my core collection specifically has exposed tips. I guess I like to live dangerously.

Drop? Mine are placed in rows of expanding circles, like tiny worshippers surrounding me. I get home from work, sit on my industrial Lazy-Susan and spin until its time for bed.

Found a perfect one by sheer chance that fits an old Colleen Jib mechanical pencil. It’s a double-knock, so one might ask if this is overkill. Well, it’s actually protection for the nose cone from getting chipped/scratched from accidental drops onto hard surfaces.

Mine is covered and protected, but I got VD…

I know some people want it, but I haven’t and won’t give it to anyone else!

I’ve never seen this in the wild… it is a beautiful pencil

It nose is so original.

BTW, in case anyone is interested… There’s a brand called “ClosetMaid” that makes these “shelf end caps.” You can get them at the hardware store, and other places… including Amazon.

They used to be more commonly found in the wild on auction sites but I’ve not seen many lately. Usually in other style themes. I’ve seen “rubber glip” only once.

Do you actually have three of them? Or is that a spliced pic?

Looks like a 3-part composite photo to me?

Same pencil, I believe. Rust in the exact same spots

I wish I had three! No, it’s a photo montage of the same pencil.
