Product's release year that need to be revised in the Pentel Pencil Identification Book

I am writing this to propose to revise some information in ’ Pentel Pencils Identification Book v2025.02.06’. I found the book very helpful and wish to contribute accurate information. However, It states the release years for several mechanical pencils based on the claim that Good Design Award winners are products released the prior year. According to recently revealed information, the Good Design Award could selects winning products released in the same year as the award year. Therefore, the year preceding the award year is not necessarily the release year of the product.

In the process of providing evidence to the author in advance, my careless choice of words unintentionally caused him discomfort. I truly apologize if he felt uncomfortable but I have benefited greatly from this book and sincerely respect the author for writing such a great book. Therefore, I am writing this post not to point out, but to provide the author with new information he should find. In other words, I reiterate that my purpose is to contribute to the correction of this book with accurate information.

On that purpose, I wish to share the accurate release year verified using evidence from Pentel’s official website. I’ve included photos and links so anyone can verify the evidence; please feel free to check them. Additionally, beyond the evidence below, Pentel has various official sources regarding the product’s release date, so please feel free to ask.
