It’s not a secret that I prefer a good plastic grip. All of these are pleasant to use with the exception of the Germany made Gramercy.
The favorite is a toss between the Berol and the Italy Gramercy.

How does the plastic BIC Criterium fare against these in your opinion?

I’ve not committed to the BIC versions of Criterium.
From searching it seems I’d probably like it except it reminds me of the Faber Castell TKfine Vario and I tried to like that pencil but I can’t.
If you recommend it, I’ll find one and give it a chance.

Both the hexagonal shape and ridges are quite sharp. That can be seen as a plus or minus ofc. The internals are just plastic and feel cheap. The eraser was a surprise.
