Pilot H-100? I've not seen this designation before, but it explains something I've noticed

I’ve seen these pencils before, but I’ve not seen the H-100 sticker. I always thought these were perhaps early versions of the H-215, but a couple of things stand out:

  • The tip is just a little different (slightly longer)
  • The barrel does not have the “PILOT 0.5” resin inlay, but rather a raised “outlay” indicating the lead size (and I’ve only seen 0.5)

This leads me to believe that the 0.7s floating around without the inlay or the lead size on the barrel are actually 0.7 versions of the H-100.
