PG-Metal 350 vs. PG310

My PG-Metal 350 says “PG310” - what’s that?

Also what’s that “6:02” all about?

Thank you!

it appears to have been a limited edition each depicting a favorite time of day with 4 options -

  • 6:02 (opaque off-white)
  • 14:17 (clear mint blue)
  • 18:35 (clear purple)
  • 20:51 (clear gray)

This, THIS was one of the times I think Pentel marketing lost the plot with their JDM vs export designations.

JDM series name: PG-METAL350, the replacement for the STEIN P31x series that had a thematically similar stamped metal sheath grip. The name suggested that management wanted to shift this series away from general purpose and into the drafting category where ‘PG’ / Pentel Graph Pencil belonged. ‘Metal’ and ‘350’ acted as indications of its feature and price point.

Overseas: GraphGear 300… lowest tier GG.

But the Brazilian GG300’s were the best with their sliding sleeve.
