Thanks to @drifand, we now know the model number fo the Unknown Model 01 pencil from the Pentel Book. It is as has been mentioned in a couple of auctions, the P305. I will be changing it in the next version of the book, which will hopefully be in the next couple of weeks (I was hoping by this weekend, but life gets in the way).

Finally!
It’s one of my favorite vintage pieces. I only have one. The black. I want/need a brown.
I wonder if the designer of the P35 Hue was inspired by the P305 when designing it.
