Well, it turned out very well, very nice indeed. I suppose the metal cone improves the balance and it may be that the pencil is now quieter when the lead traces on the paper (?).

Love what you guys are doing with custom Clics, so much so that I think we should have a dedicated customs thread. A place to drop pics of custom Clics and tricks?

I haven’t had a chance to do much writing with the pencil yet. I only borrowed the white cone from my PD345-W for the pic. I will keep the metal cone on it.
In case anyone is interested, the clip and inner mechanism were take from Thomas’s favorite (tasting) Pentel QC with smooth rubber grip.
