Does anyone know any of the history of “Pentel of America, Ltd.”? When did they start? How long were they in Chicago? Did they go from Chicago to Torrance, or were there any locations in between those two? What years were pens and pencils made in the United States? Was the manufacturing facility also in Torrance?

All I really know is that they opened in 1965.

Thanks! I didn’t even know they had their office in Chicago in the early years. (At least according to this flyer below.)
