Here’s a video recapping the 2023 Pentel Fan Meeting. This would be an amazing experience…
Also, does anybody know where I can cop one of those Pentel jackets?

Forge the jacket. I want the big Nero.
This is one of the nerdiest things I’ve ever seen, and I am so freakin here for it
Makes me want to learn Japanese and move to Japan.
Xiao would probably know about the jacket.
Who is Xiao? (Post must be 20 characters)
xiaozhenyang4444
Collector from China, has well over 3000 pieces (including many micromatics, H-5005, etc…). Big Pentel fan as well.
The jacket is probably employee only but still, if someone in this hobby would know about them, it’s him and other “heavy weight” Chinese and Japanese collectors.
I dont know if he still does it but in the past he also sold a lot of vintage mps and new releases (like when orenznero was released) on eBay
Ah yes. I know who you’re talking about.
Pretty sure Pearson once said he was the American version of Xiao, only better.
Well… the love for Pilot, gigantic collection size and complete disregard for American mechanical pencils is definitely there
loooool you and @stu-dying piling on here
FWIW, I love the old Berols and Alvins!
Adding some photos here. It’s from シャープペンファンMTG in 2019, and MTG in 2023 is the second one they held.

Binders!?
That’s an interesting way to store your collection.

This post makes me so happy. Also makes me sigh.
Thanks for sharing!
Everything’s fine until I see these binders, there are still so many hiddened ‘pages’ I can’t have a look
Prototype PWP15. It’s picture was used in the Pentel of America 1980 catalog for the PSD5.
I remember reading about the black grip one in the catalogue but this is the first I have seen one in 3d. Were many prototyoes made? Do known private collectors have them?
No clue about how many or ownership. Since this was a display at Pentel, I suspect it is still in their collection.
