Pentel A129 with A319 metal cone, Penac NP-7 modified to fits P20x mechanism (S3 clip on this one).
They both look good! What did you change on the NP-7 so that the P20x mechanism fits?
Cut and sand. The mechanism of the Penac NP-x is fixed, it cannot be removed without cutting the part that has grooves to screw the cone, I cut that part and then sanded a little inside the body of the pencil. The one in the pic is the NP-3.
This NP series consists of three pencils of 0.3, 0.5 and 0.7mm, but only the NP-3 has a metal clutch, the other two are plastic. In the .5 and .7, due to the plastic clutch, something happened that happens to many pencils with plastic clutches, that the lead got stuck in the clutch when pressed on the paper, making the next click feel harder, since you need to unclog the lead, this is why I decided to make the mod. In 0.3 we don’t see that issue.
Thank you for these details! – It’s a shame that the 0.5 and the 0.7 have plastic clutches.
I like the box of the MARS-MICROGRAPH in the background
Yeah, it’s 771 13 light blue, you know that if it gets sunlight it turns green instantly, you can see how it changes color in front of your eyes, I’m just rearranging (as always).
Unfortunately – the colour doesn’t last long. I once had a MICROGRAPH F 770 13 which I kept in a drawer but sold ten years ago. I regret that today, but on the other hand, if I were to use it now, it would probably be turquoise or light green Curiously, the other colours do not seem to be as susceptible to discolouration.
This is all too familiar to me!
