PD347-G - so rare but I don't know why

Of all the solid barrel PD347 line, the turquoise seems to be the rarest. Was it more likely to be used by those who bought it and therefore discarded when it had served its purpose? Or was the colour less popular and therefore remained unpurchased? Or is it because it is older than the transparent and subsequent variants - but if that’s the case, why are its solid barrel siblings so much easier to find?

I never really thought about it but you’re right. You don’t see that one nearly as much as others. It was probably made in significant less quantities than other colors.
