Questions about this image:
1- What is the source of this image? Was this a Pentel internal meeting?
2 - On the first image, the bottom row shows the PD1055 Technica (S48/1973), PD1065 Technica II (S49/1974) and the PD345 (S52/1977). What is the significance (if any) of the PD345 on the same line? (i.e. aside from being a “side knock” style pencil)
I’ve been flipping through Nimrod’s book and haven’t found a side-knock pencil that Pentel produced before 1973, so would that mean the PD1055 is their first side-knock?
Question I’ve had for a long time: How does the Technoclic fit in here? Or does it? I’d assumed the timeline went like this: Technica → Technica II → Technoclic → QC. Is that true?
In other news… I am extremely excited that I’ve finally been able to acquire the Belfor Clicker Pencil. The real first side knock. Please Pencil Gods, have it arrive in working order.
