Pastela Enkel 100

Sourced this from an online stationery store in Thailand. Decent quality. Substantial weight. Blingy.

Features a sliding sleeve, gentle knurling, and a lead indicator.

The tail design leans very heavily on KIN 563X and rOtring, but I don’t consider this pencil to be a knockoff. Still, the red band design decision makes me shudder a little bit.

That’s an unusual pencil with an unusual name – “Enkel”, if read as a Geman word, means “grandchild”.

The illegitimate child of someone?

The 100th illegitimate grandchild of KIN and rOtring?

It looks more coherent than some of today’s ’hand crafted custom PG5’ models!

If I understood the history of the Rotring 600 correctly, that would make it incestuous too :frowning:

By this point they’d be third, fourth, fifth cousins… pretty sure that’s legal everywhere!:face_with_peeking_eye:

Still, considering everything, I want it :joy:.

Is there a link you are able to provide? Or is this a one hit wonder?
