The box for 3 writing instruments is cool

This has a satisfying vintage/modern look to it. Is it from the 80’s? Any other information about the set?

I am trying to find the right place in my brain for this. The “Five” part sort of makes sense (if you ignore the fact that it is a set of three instruments). The “On Time” part is still looking for a home.

This is what I found in the net:

In Japanese, but Google translate can help you. This is a very interesting web site. Go through it and you will find many many interesting stationery from the old Japan…

The Quartic Pocket Research Center is an absolute treasure! I have discovered so many amazing stationery items from that site.

Is it not referring to “on time” (9am) and “five”(5p.m.)? So these three are all you need between those hours?

Admittedly, its as catchy as a baseball covered in razor blades, but thats all i could figure.
