Old Stationery Shop - Taipei

After living in Taipei for nearly two years, I finally found an old stationery store that had more than one or two interesting items. Nothing out of this world amazing, just old, rusty, and dusty items I don’t see too often. So I splurged and bought one or two of all the ones that caught my eye.

Here is $20 worth of pencils from the shop.

Here I have filtered to some of the ones that are more interesting to me:

My eye keeps wandering back to one of the items from the first photo that didn’t make the cut: the APEX Revolution Auto Pencil. Correct me if I’m wrong, but this is a fineliner disguised as a woodcase pencil with a ferrule eraser?!?

And auto advance, believe it or not.

Similar to Ticonderoga Sensematic+, which I believe is also made in Taiwan.

Lovely uchida erasers. Never seen this design before.

They had about 100 or more of them. Something like 50 cents each. Hard to tell, but the barrel looks like fiberglass to me.

100 Uchida Erasers like that one? Buy them all (or most of them) and re-sell them here…

Very cool finds! Loving the BEE LINE point knock ballpoint and the previously unseen Uchida Pro Eraser.
