Hi,
Bought this no name pen and pencil set in a box from Sankyo Rikagaku (FUJI STAR). Must be a corporate gift. Any idea about a possible brand? Will receive it in a few days.

hello @Jonah79 - welcome to the forum.. .
I received the set today. The set is marked with the company’s name on the cap band. The pencil is one with a propelling mechanism and seems to be a 0.7 mm. The quallity is great.
The ballpoint has dried out. The seller gave me a 50% discount because he thought the pen did not work as it should…
What brand is it? Please share some pics.
Hi there!
I came here from over there (FPN). Don’t you think this looks similar?
The item linked here is a set of mechanical pencils from Newman, a Japanese manufacturer that went out of business in the 1980s.
During Japan’s postwar recovery period, Newman held the top market share for mechanical pencils. Apparently, they were the first manufacturer to produce 0.2mm mechanical pencils.
I don’t know much about them, so this is all the information I have.
Hi, thanks voor your reply! Because I’m in the EU I’m not able to access this Japanse Yahoo site…

Welcome @Number99 thank you for joining
100% my set!
I have been able to replace the ballpoint refill. It now has a NOS Schneider refill. I have replaced the spring with a spring from a German Stylex ballpoint.
Hello! Thanks for the warm welcome.
I completely forgot that Yahoo Japan’s affiliated websites aren’t accessible in Europe…
