Flipping through over 70 pages of this Taiwan MP collectors thread from 16 years ago, I found some items that took me by surprise. Anyone have any of these? Care to share info and more pics? I would like to find all of them.

The first one is the same as the Korean You&Me i-Tech. I have one and it’s surprisingly well made. The middle ring seems like a vestige from another model, because although there is a lead hardness window, there are no lead hardness markings.

I’ll take some pictures of mine tomorrow morning.

I have seen that ‘no markings’ hardness window on MonAmi before. Only HB is printed.

I remember that thread from years ago… discovered a few interesting pencils in there too, but it has gone a lot quieter (along with the whole platform I think) in recent years.

It’s a surprisingly well made pencil. I’m not sure if it’s still in production, but it’s still available online.

The knurling is crispy, to say the least. The double knock actuation feels solid, but you can feel a kind of mechanical, metal-on-metal sensation when the spring is compressed, similar to how other, lower-end double knocks sound and feel. It could be smoother.

Is the fake indicator covering part of the barrel or is it covering threads?

It’s just covering the end of the barrel. There’s a lip at the end of the fake indicator piece, which allows it to cup the end of the barrel
