I am from India, and I want to buy Spoke 4 mechanical Pencil. Cost of the pencil is $45.
However, the delivery charges are $45 as well. So, I have to pay double the amount for the mechanical pencil.
Forgive me if this sounds dumb, but can someone from the States help me get the pencil for $45 + Cheaper shipping to India? Like you buy the pencil and send it to me and I pay you whatever it costs?
What they need to do next is make a Roady pencil. Yep, capped. I think Brian is talented enough to work out a way to knock while posted, the way Pentel Kerry and Tombow Zoom do it.
While the 6 has the added advantage of being able to disassemble and swap parts, I’m a little ambivalent about it… because really, the grip designs of the 4 are really tops and I don’t see a need to change. Plus, there’s the added rigidity of the body essentially behaving like one integrated piece.
I’d kind of gone back and forth in my mind about going for a flared grip. I was almost going to see about picking knurled, but that’s a bit… “boring,” when considering what other designs are being offered. Brian Conti achieved an excellent level of machining and etching. On my standard grip Spoke 4 pencils, I’ve no trouble with slippage.
Thomas, which grips do you have in your collection? Do you have the flared grip? I was thinking perhaps its one disadvantage is that it won’t fit in the Spoke holder…
Ah. Things have changed. I see now that Brian retooled the holder sizes. Previously there were just two: 8.3 mm and 9.2 mm. But now, there’s a 10.3 mm, whereas the other size is now capable of housing either 8.3 or 9.2. I wonder if that 10.3 mm is for the flared grips.
