Mythical Archi K

This thing seems to be so rare I’ve only seen 1 picture of it. Does anyone here own it and have an opinion on it or is it that mythical?

It is definitely extremely rare. I had the opportunity to try one. The design is pretty unusual, but it’s a pretty ordinary pencil otherwise. The triangular grip is not particularly comfortable to use. This is one of those cases where the mythical status is purely due to the rarity and not because of any outstanding qualities.

Nice to know that everyone isn’t missing out by not acquiring it. Thanks for the info!

We can consider it a collectible pencil. It surely, in photos, doesn’t look like something that is easy to use

Here is a short article written by the designer about Archi K, you can find some photos about it. (as for the text content, I don’t think it’s very informative)

Surprisingly, it looks like I would really enjoy writing with one of these…

Of course, I don’t have this pen, but in my opinion, the particularity of K is only because it belongs to that famous Archi series, rather than K itself. It does have a good appearance, but compared with the visual impact or mechanical structure of Y and Y2, it is not that special. You may be able to look forward to its holding feeling, its appearance feels more like a special model of Slide Sharp or Rolleta series, isn’t it?
I only found one group of auction record in 2018, when two pencils were auctioned and each was about 75,000 yen.

So cool. Thank you for sharing these images, so many colour variations! 75k for each is crazy tho.
