. In all seriousness, I really like these inscribed stainless steel pencils by Pilot. Only the Murex has the letters actually etched, though. The other two are screen printed on.
The clip on the Young Rex is really cool, in my opinion.

I didn’t know this until now, but an undine is a mythological water nymph creature from European folklore. The word is derived from the Latin word, unda, which means “wave.” According to Wikipedia, undines don’t have immortal souls, so they would try to marry human men to gain one.
Murex is also some aquatic snails apparently, the brandings do sound very ‘‘sailor’’

If they made a plain stainless steel “L,” I’ll definitely try to find one, but to my knowledge, they didn’t. They’re all colored.

I think you mean “unda”, with an inned “d”; that is the Latin word for “wave“ (typically a water wave, but also a wave in a more general sense).
”Una”, on the other hand, is just Latin for “one” (in the declension of the cardinal numeral adjective “unus – una – unum“, masculine–feminine–neuter).
