. In all seriousness, I really like these inscribed stainless steel pencils by Pilot. Only the Murex has the letters actually etched, though. The other two are screen printed on.
The clip on the Young Rex is really cool, in my opinion.

Any idea why Ondine is U?
I misspelled it. It should be Undine. Let me fix that.
I didn’t know this until now, but an undine is a mythological water nymph creature from European folklore. The word is derived from the Latin word, una, which means “wave.” According to Wikipedia, undines don’t have immortal souls, so they would try to marry human men to gain one.
Murex is also some aquatic snails apparently, the brandings do sound very ‘‘sailor’’ 
Needs an ‘L’ for the Lady series 
If they made a plain stainless steel “L,” I’ll definitely try to find one, but to my knowledge, they didn’t. They’re all colored.
