900 series were still there in 1996 JP catalog

92 is very important since matte versions are noted as new…finally clearing when they were introduced.
96 was the last year of the 900 series.

Seems that it is somewhere between 1987-1989. Can’t pinpoint more accurately.
This is the only place I have seen burgundy 400 mp, so if anybody sees it in any other catalogue would pinpoint exact year.

yeah these are still available on archive web, and were called 199x catlog, but some others have expired

1989 would seem to make sense because here they call model 502190 the Tikky automatic LS but the pencil image is still the original Tikky metallic LS with the red ring being rOtring text from 1988. In the 1990 catalog, they’ve updated the image to the one with solid red ring and automatic LS print.
