Hey!
I’ve been looking to buy high-performance E27 bulbs for my new studio like
or better yet
But then a colleague working in a studio next to me said he was looking into buying lamps with “95 CRI”, which introduced me to a concept I was completely unaware of. I thought buying lamps around 5000K was all that was needed.
After some research, I gather this CRI thing was developed in the States, but they have a different voltage system there… so there’s no point importing their +90 plus CRI lamps.
Are you aware of a similar thing in Europe?
The point of CRI (color rendering index) is fidelity to colour as in “daylight” (Which i though was good enough with 5500K) but I’ve seen some posts/videos discussing that.
