Leadholder Identification Help Please

Hello fellow Knockologists,

I recently came across several photographs from the 1950s-1960s of Danish architect, Arne Jacobsen, using a leadholder. Please refer to the attached images.

If you look closely at the third image you can make out the blurred branding/imprint on the barrel.

Does anyone happen to recognize this specific model?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Fixpencil I would be my guess

Thanks DarkwingDuck :slightly_smiling_face:

Any idea what model it might be?

Fixpencil “I” 1.18mm

Would that be the same Fixpencil “I” as the one in this collection?

Basically

The print on the side isn’t always identical

Here’s mine with some nice patina (imo)

Could be any pencil, I’m only guessing… I don’t think it’s a 3 though!

It looks thinner in his hand and the lead looks thinner

Hmmm, good point.

Thanks for your help DarkwingDuck! :slightly_smiling_face:

Nice collection of fixpencils you’ve got there BTW!

I think as well it is a piece by Caran d’Ache, most likely some Fixpencil for 2.00mm with plastic pushbutton (if it is metal, it surely looks like a dark colour, maybe violet or red).

Fixpencil 2, II or 22 (with smooth body) is my easiest guess. Great choice, by the way.
