I don’t know when this pencil was made but I’m going to inquire with Ballograf. They were very helpful in the past with my inquiry about the Epoca ballpoints and an Era MP I’d bought off of eBay.
It has a Schmidt / LAMY style insert. It’s mostly metal construction. I’m assuming it’s 0.5 mm. There might be an eraser hidden in that rear piece. I’m waiting to hear back from the seller about the function for lead advancement. The insert suggests a forward click. I’m thinking it’s a spring ratchet type that when twisting the body, it pushes forward a peg inside that triggers advancement.
Curiously, “2701” is stamped in metal on the rear piece band. Seems to be likely a serial number. Ah… if only the “2” had been a “1”. I’m a Star Trek fan, and “1701” is a special number.
