Makes sense, given urushi’s pronunciation (HERE).

Funny thing, when using the Forvo site for pronunciation, it assigns Uchida to a Spanish pronunciation. It still sounds about right for Japanese, though (HERE), although emphasis should be on first syllable.

Greek chi (x) is pronounced like in German „Ich“ (if i or e is following), and that’s also the way I pronounce uchida. But I have no idea, what a Japanese does…
