Here is a Pentel ML5 in the Hi Black version. These pieces came out in the late 70s to promote Pentel’s Hi Black lead and were shipped with B, instead of HB, lead. Super dark. Super cool.
The data code stamped on the reservoir for this one is 780627. June 27, 1978. The year of the first Garfield comic strip.
