I’m a complete newbie (especially when it comes to the prices of anything other than ‘readily available everyday stock items’) and I’m looking to get the Staedtler 925-35 Korean Exclusive Orange (pictured). What’s a reasonable price for a new MIB one (just so I don’t get horrendously ripped off) ?
(I’m not looking to hold anyone to their answer - just looking for guidance with a rough ballpark figure so I can temper my search)
It’s averaging 3250 - 3500 JPY new in tin case. Before taxes, fees, shipping, etc.
Thank you. I found that online they tend to range between US$50 and $100 plus about $10-15 shipping (depending on where they’re coming from). That’s very helpful, thank you.
On my Asian ‘Shopee’ app, it lists for SGD 31.50 and free shipping. I need to check it out more often instead of simply trusting Mercari and Rakuten listings.
It’s the ‘import fees’ (tariffs) that worries me about buying items from sellers outside of the United States.

Worst case scenario it’ll be 20% of the value of the package. (Still puts you less than the $50+shipping)
I’ll bet a used all black one you don’t get charged anything at all (outside of what you pay initially with eBay)
