Not much to see here, other than an old 1980s Helix brand 2mm pushbutton leadholder. But I like these last gasps of manufacturing in England and this is actually a really very nice pencil to draw with. Not seen this one before. Think it’s fairly early, in terms of this company, at least.

And you disassemble by unscrewing the clutch?
Trying to understand by just looking.

Yes- that’s exactly right. The knurled grip section unscrews after that.

The “upper spring” was a relatively common feature in the beginning — and, surprisingly, it is still used today, I think in the Parafernalia Linea.
Very glad to see these sort of transitional pencils, marking the dawn of an even more mass-produced wave of pencils, and the sunset of local manufacturers.
Cool piece, no matter how beaten up and worn by use and time it can appear. Also, the fitting for the pointer in the rear pushbutton is pure icing on the cake.
