Leadmaster…originally labeled “Dietzgen” as well, but later that was dropped for some reason. Their original issues included black, red, gold, “raw”, and green versions.. and an eight segmented collet (!). The later version was almost always blue ( simpler collet) and for a time came as part of a drafting tool set from VEMCO.

I am confused. I don’t see any lead holder.

Blue one between the packs of lead.

Did not even see that, hidden there.

I think the leadholder is made of aluminum and then painted blue! Could it be Griffold?

It’s definitely a leadmaster
(@lsd300 said it first though)

Yes, I didn’t notice the “leadmaster” brand. Sorry!

Hi Allen, check this out. I am not sure if this Berol set interests you…

No it doesn’t
Thank you though

Several pencils like this one, but with “Berol Turquoise” written on them, brand new and unused, were not long ago on eBay for around $12 each and they had many and the listing lasted a long time. The question is, what’s going on?

@First_Sail
Traditional Berol Turquoise Leadholde #10 is not in high demand among collectors, even when brand new and boxed, due to the large production of these leadholders at the time. Almost all pencil collectors have these leadholders among their accumulated hoard of pencils…
