Fun with BOXY 100

OK, please bear with me. I know this isn’t an MP but the BOXY 100 ballpoint is so iconic to the brand, it would feel wrong to orphan this away from the Mitsubishi board.

In 1975, BOXY was launched as a ‘total lifestyle stationery brand’ to appeal to boys and young men. This simple spring pusher pen was an ingenious trojan horse than sneaked into many a classroom. With a suitably cool eraser shaped as a supercar, like this Lambo, kids could conduct desktop races using their BOXY 100 pens.

I’ve always fancied that imagination just needs a little push to get all fired up. And Mitsubishi served it up in spades with the BOXY brand.
