For Sale or Trade

I have these available for sale. I am not trying to make money on these pieces. I have them priced at what paid, plus shipping, so if the price seems high, I’m not gouging you, I just didn’t get a “good deal”. Anyway, at these prices I’d prefer these go to collectors as opposed to resellers, but you do what you want. After Sept 1, anything left will go on eBay, but at a higher price to cover the eBay and PayPal fees, etc.

Shipping will be on you, and I will ship anywhere. Once we arrange a deal, we can work out the best shipping method for you. I’d prefer PayPal but I will work with you on payment.

Some of these are brand new, some are used. I have tried to point out any defects, but if you would like to see closer photos or even video, please let me know.

FOR SALE OR TRADE (L to R)

  • Uchida Drawling Sharp 0.5mm, Silver – This pencil is in decent condition for the price. It is functional. The eraser is a bit worn and hardened with age. I have posted more photos below that show the defects on the finish. More photos or close up video inspection is available on request. ($70)
There are some blemishes in the finish from age and gentle use.

  • Scripto Cassette P1150C – brand new ($5)

  • Pentel P323 – In good condition for its age, has sticker (looks good) and eraser is slightly worn. ($8)

  • Pentel P555A – Black. Date Code May 1978. Has wear but in good shape overall– please see photo. ($30) I’m selling this at a loss because the wear was hidden in the OP.
Aside from the wear shown below, the pencil looks and works great.

  • rOtring Tikky Special (W. Germany on clip) – Special was sold from 1983-1998. My resarch on the clip text is starting to suggest that this pencil was sold between 1988 and 1995. Great shape for the age. Eraser looks close to unused. ($23)

  • Pentel PD345E Blue, Quicker Clicker v1 – great shape for being sold in 1997-98. (NO Eraser Cap!) ($15)

  • Pentel PD205-B2 red, 0.5mm, date code OF (June 2020) so this is a current model (2020-current) not first generation… ($6)

  • Pentel Smash Q1005 – I think this is one of the limited Loft pencils (experts please chime in). I like to call this my Stormtrooper pencil. (but I don’t need 2). Appears to be unused. ($26)

  • OHTO Promecha SP504P – unused ($10)

Also – any BP collectors – someone tossed in a red Pilot Super-GP 1.0mm (BPS-GPN-BBR). If anyone who buys a pencil would like it, just ask - No Charge. FCFS.

As far as trades go – for lower tier pencils I am looking for cassette pencils and trying to complete my Pentel PDxxxx collection – trying to get at least one of every PD side click model. But I am willing to consider all offers.

Feel free to DM or direct chat with me if you are interested. I am running out of space, and as far as my collection goes, I do not need two of these. At this point I am coming from the mindset that something is better than nothing, as my money has already been spent. So, If you are a new collector and trying to build your collection I’d be willing to work with you on the price.

This is one of those pencils that look better in person
I wanted to be transparent about the condition. It really does look better in person

This was the angle in the OP that hid the wear.

Zoom in on the top images and you can see the undisclosed wear,

What kind of wear is this? That is a single plastic part (oddly, it steps up). It unscrews at the ring above.

the OP claimed it was NOS with “box wear from years of storage” etc.
The worn edge is a high spot when its laying flat. I’d only be guess as to how it happend. If I am to believe them that it was NOS, judging on the wear, maybe he kept the box in his car’s trunk for 20 years?

The wear was hidden well in the OP photos. The auction is long gone, but I tried to simulate it in one of my pictures. I think I had vented on another post about this, and having no recourse but did not post picture.

On a side topic - it would be nice if we had a way to keep track of shifty vendors. Maybe a “Caveat emptor” page for members?
