So I bought this hairline finish ballpoint pen recently called Neo. The finish and the colour reminded me of the Rhodia script mp. The clicker reminded of the old 700yen Tombow pencils, some of which also came in the similar finish. Really wanted to try to convert it, and found this other german made Nespen in my collection with the mechanism that fit the Faber quite well.
I was wondering if we know any other pencils with a similar mechanism and if it can be bought solo like the parker mp one?
So temporarily I am going to try to keep this mod. Although the mod is quite shabby, I love the texture and weight of this setup. The whole mechanism does sometimes get pushed inside the body if I press too hard. Going to try to secure it better from now onwards.
