My first day here at this forum, i have read a bunch of intresting topics here previous weeks!
As im in the process of setting up a amazon store to sell pens and pencils that have been collecting dust here at the family business for decades, i would like to spread the word out to this community and give you all a sneak peak on what will be up for sale. The pencils that i would assume to be most desired here is NIJI GRIP 350, 350DX, GRIP 1000 and GRIP 300. All in different color variations and in original dozen-pack.
I hope to have some of these availible in all of the european amazon stores by the end of the week if everything goes according to plans. I also have plans to offer shipping to USA but that will be some more work until i can provide that.
Feel free to share any tips and ideas. I would claim to offer affordable prices. Some models are pretty high stock and some are very low, happy to answear any question if you looking for specific color or anything similar, i will do my best to answer.
I hope im not breaking any rules by mentioning this here. If posts like this are not appropriate, please feel free to let me know and i will gladly remove it. Either way im happy to have found this forum and look forward to learning more from the many knowledgeable knockologists here.
Those are nice. I have the Skilcraft version of the Grip 1000, as well as the Berol version. The Grip 350 looks to be a clone of the Penac Double Knock (and others also made by Kotobuki). Good stuff! Niji is tough to find, especially here in the U.S.

@speedfreek DX will be availible soon, Its a bit of a struggle to start selling on amazon and a lots of regulations/rules i have to deal with but it will be availible next week. For DX white and black are low on stock, so if you want i can let you know the day they are for sale. kul med en svensk förresten!!
@ThirdeYe Thank you, im happy to be corrected here but i belive its the other way around Penac Double Knock beeing the clone of Grip 350. Do you know if the Grip 500 was popular in the US?
We imported Niji pencils from around 1980 to 2008, after that period we started selling a other brand Marvy Uchida for example. Ever since Niji have been sitting at the shelfs. Im exiting to get these back on the market!
the Niji very well may have been sold before the Penac version. Penac is the house brand of Kotobuki, who manufactures that pencil/design. I see older Niji pencils occasionally here in the U.S., but at the time, Sanford/Berol were a lot more common and readily available at stores.
In the process of selling on amazon i have encountered lots of obsacles and would like to ask you guys if you have the time to check how the product posts looks from different countries. Is there a buy option, and what price/currency does it say when viewing the amazon.se links i provided.
I believe there should be a delivery option to all of europe now but maybe i have to get the product post up and running on each marketplace first. I do appreciate some help here! Thanks guys.
The Grip500 was very popular in the US in the mid-1990s. Y&C and Niji variants were sold at office supply stores and were widely available, even in smaller markets. (The Y&C variant in red was my pencil throughout high school. I loved that thing and used it til the grip disintegrated.)

Turns out i greatly underestimated to process of getting started and making products available in different countries. Its a lot of information to digest hehe. Im still working on setting everything up for EU-countries.
@pearsonified we used to sell the Grip500 but replaced it with the Grip300 later on so sadly we dont have any Grip500 left.
I believe im quite far from providing the US with these pencils through Amazon, i could probably make a Ebay shipment in the meantime if there is any demand. Let me know if that would be of interest and we can work something out.
@nezoomer Great to hear! i sent the DX packs to Amazon last week so should arrive tomorrow probably. i was thinking about doing single pen packages aswell but i need to get the equipment to repackage. Im planing on adding atleast one color variation for each model (350/DX/1000) to be sold as one. Currently i believe there to be buy option only for swedsih people but im working to expand that.
