Custom 0.3mm pencil with P203 clutch

Just found out this amazing forum!
I already posted on the subreddit but will post here with more photos and updates.
I’m working on a custom pencil with the clutch from P203, i’m planning on building a full metal internals by removing the plastic lead container and making a brass one following this great resource: https://www.flickr.com/photos/48329631@N08/albums/72157715041741351/ .
I made the jig using a 3D printer and plan on using glue instead of soldering.

More photos and renderings:
it seems i can only post one media as i’m a new user

Dimensions:
Length same as P203
Weight TBD
Grip diameter 8.7 with a small taper near the end
Grip length 40mm
Body diameter 8mm

I assembled the pencil with the full metal internals and stock P203 tip.
The weight is 16g, i will try experimenting with a brass tube to shift the balance point more to the front and bring the pencil near 20g.

Next week i will work on the custom tip with P203 lead retainer

It does look quite attractive, I like the button part, how about the eraser cap, does it rattle? Very nice, I like it.

Looks great. Very subtle details. The front end has good PG1505 vibes.

I didn’t notice that but it really does!

While I was machining the cap I tested the fit so it doesn’t rattle. Thanks for the nice comments

Made the tip from aluminium!

It was hell, it took me almost 3 hours.
The lead tube is glued because i still can’t drill properly under 1mm so it ended up being bigger.
The retainer is from P203, the lead tube from aliexpress and is 0.8mm outside, 0.4mm inside.

I’m so happy

Absolutely love the flange assembly + end cap. To me, that kind of treatment really “finishes” a pencil, especially when it’s got a well-defined grip section.

Love the tip, as I can tell it’s easy to grip. This is a GREAT piece!

I see you’re the person to contact to make a working prototype.
