i have another cheap pencil made by mida with the same function, it doesnt autofeed, just retracts the sleeve
Not sure about the pushmatic mechanism… hoping to learn more when it becomes more widely available.

So the original Orenz (2014) is considered semi-automatic?
Yes, that’s right. The original is the same one that’s currently produced. Since it doesn’t load the lead automatically, it’s not fully automatic, like the Pentel QX, for example.

Update - the FC Velvet Automatic 9775 does not have an automatic lead feed mechanism… unless they mean automatically feeding the lead when you push the button. ![]()
