Since FC itself says DS, I would take that for granted.
Porsche Design Arc Line: Release date is around 1988-99
I would also add that PD Classic line has two variants - full automatic with straight lead pipe (like TK-Matic) and automatic with a conical lead pipe (like alpha matic)

Couple more for you:
Sun-Star Knock Free
Sun-Star nocfree
Thanks. Its added. Do you happen to know when they were sold?
EDIT: look like fairly recently
Here is the nocfree:

I think the nocfree is a very new release. Not sure about the Knock Free timeline.
added - thank you
Hi I am new here and I am not sure if this one counts:
- Pilot Automatic Pencil (the box says disposable, but I don’t think people throw them away)
Model number is HATR-8R-B, and I think it’s from 90s
Basically the lead will keep coming out when the paper touches the tip
hello @bluejeff and thank you!
I think it does make the list! I have it added
Welcome to the forum.
Thanks @First_Sail
I am not familiar at all with these pencils.
Are they auto advancing?
Yes, you don’t need to press the button.
Great. I’ll get them added.
Would you happen to know when they were sold?
Looks kind of 80s-90s ish?
Wow, cool! Is this the only side-knock with auto-advance? I am trying to think of others.
They still sell them.
You mentioned Platinum hayaai, it is not, its function is like a elastic slide pipe, and only hayaai Ⅱ fits the theme. In addition, there are many products sharing the same mechanism (Guess from patent information, internal mechanism was OEM manufacturing by Kotobuki), they are Rotring altro, Rotring 400 (aka tikky LS), Platinum hayaai Ⅱ, NIJI grip 700, Dong-A autopia 3000, Staedtler retromatic, Sanford (unknown name), Berol continuum
(Except for the last one, I’ve seen the disassembly of them, and I can confirm it’s all same mechanism)
Some pictures for newly mentioned products:
thanks @Linus2K and @First_Sail - list is updated
That Berol is SICK!
Under consideration for “Best in Genre”
Sadly the mechanism is nowhere close to best in genre! Really cool pencil otherwise.
Just to emphasize: nocfree and Knock Free are different auto advance pencils.
