What are some capped pencils that you can still knock? The only ones that I have in my collection are the Kerry and the Meister by Point.
The Tombow Zoom 505 is another one.
Ohto Tasche (and its Muji sibling).
Sun-star ontime5. Pilot capped etched and satin silver. Renoma(pentel) capped. Pentel caplet.
Also was wondering if one can click Tombow variables, PureMalt 5000, Pentel Cil and Pel with the cap on?
What about the PMG? Would that be considered a ācapā?
And I can add the P1135 to the list
If you count the PMG, then the Tombow Variable needs be considered, even though as a limiting case.
Another, much more āstandardā one, from Ohto: Ohto Words (SP-10A) ā reviewed here by Dave.
If you count the PMG, then you have to count the P515 as well.
Pentel Caplet ![]()
Have to include the grand daddy of Kerry, the Pel and also the Pilot Young Cap and Cap Tomo. Nowadays, there is also the PENCO āPerfectionā bullet pencil (and pen). And if you enjoy the Kerry, you must get the demonstrator⦠(ahem), I mean the Mitsubishi P-JACK.
You can also add the Q535 Kerry to the list as well.
Surprised to see nobody mention the Kuru Toga Dive. What a beast it is. Magnetic cap too, which isnāt as common as Iād like. Please let me know of any other magnetic-cap pencils!
it does have a cap, but i was looking for pencils that you can still knock when the cap is posted.
The Dive is a very cool pencil -
BTW Welcome @nezoomer glad you are here
You can definitely knock the Pure Malt 5000 with the cap posted. A button actually protrudes when you post it, much like the Kerry.
