Inspired by @drifand’s post, here’s my Black and White collection. A number of these I created by combining multiple pencils, as noted.

All are 0.5mm. From left to right:

  • Kuru Toga Advance Upgrade (Black, Ivory, and Black 0.3 combined)
  • Kuru Toga Advance Upgrade (same as above)
  • Kuru Toga Roulette (Gun Metallic and White combined)
  • Tombow Zoom 707
  • Kitera Shouji LiFT+
  • Zebra Delguard Type Lx Fog White
  • Staedtler 925 35 (Black and Snow White combined. I have an extra black and silver combo left if anyone is interested.)
  • Pentel Smash Loft White
  • Pilot The Dr. Grip Black Accent

Looking at this photo, I wonder why Platinum didn’t make a white version of the 171. Maybe it’s possible to combine the 0.9 with the matte black, but the white of the 0.9 isn’t matte, so it’s likely to look weird.
