Best brick & mortar non-stationery store finds?

I went to some local antique stores today just to have a look around. I did stumble across a few decent pencils. What do you guys think of the prices? The leads were $2.

I’ve seen you all post stationery store finds and such, but what are your best scores from flea markets, antique store, garage sales, etc?

What in the world? Is this in Japan? (Edit: Stupid question since the prices aren’t in ¥…)

I guess page motor can’t fix common sense….

Edit… I have a feeling page motor isn’t what you’re always talking about and I put my own foot in my mouth….

It is, though! PageMotor ftw

Not Japan as you guessed, right here in Virginia. I’ve never really checked before but was out and about and feel pretty good about this score. I know I have paid $70 or so for the PG4, but I didn’t own a mechanica. It was nice to see the tip cover still on as well.

Very nice finds, especially the ‘goldy’ PMG with m/m markings

This was years ago in an antique shop: couple of Faber Pony Clip 1560 early wood clutch mechanical pencils. (Compression fit clutch) Not a modern find, but interesting…
