This reminds me of the many USA-based advertisements from the 1950s thru 1970s. I’m currently trawling the US Modernist online library and seeing a whole gamut of creative ideas from pencil brands, from matter-of-fact and scientific claims, to attempts at wit, male status and finally, just sex appeal with no product in sight.
