The pinnacle alpha-matic. :heart_eyes::drooling_face:

silver and gold?

No, I think this is a pen+pencil set of the rare “Alpha-Matic Exclusive“ specimen; the barrel colour is too shiny to be the “Executive” model, whereas the gold accents make it so it cannot be any of the full-metal models (Bronce, Titanium, and the early unnamed one).

Uber-rare stuff, I think I first spotted the model here on Knockology in the collection owned by the legendary Korean collector Damdeok, and maybe I saw one listed on Ebay once. I wonder what is the feeling of these, compared to a Titanium or Executive version.

PS: There is a commemorative, gold model of the Executive if I am not mistaken, but it is gold all the way, from head to toe, just like a Staedtler Micromatic in gold — but those are more common.

Yes, this is an exclusive that I personally acquired through a direct meeting with the legendary collector Damdeok (Yeohae). Being in the same country (Korea) made it possible, haha.

Whoah! Amazing @Veloz ! If Mr. Damdeok is willing to let go other pieces from its magnificent inventory at a reasonable price — or he is open to trading stuff — do not hesitate to let us know, I think many of us would be more than happy to get even a little piece of his magnum opus.

Is the exclusive version significantly rarer than the executive version?

From what I’ve seen of observing the market, yes. The exclusive I have never seen crop up for sale. I have seen a few executives go on auctions.

The price differs by nearly twenty times.
