What's your favorite ballpoint/rollerball/gel pen?

I love pencils, but pens have a definite place in my writing tools kit. I love a good pen. I have too many, frankly, outside of preparing for the Apocalypse. I also use multi-pens but for this topic I’m focused on dedicated ballpoint type pens. One of my favorites is a beat up black rOtring 600 capped rollerball. This thing is rugged and I don’t baby it. Steel & Stripes: Kokuyo Mistral PS-3-1 x Pilot Hi-Tecpoint LHT-300S

[IMG_4840] Kokuyo’s Mistral line is so wide (and increasingly expensive) that you can’t help but try to set personal limits on what you will try to collect. First it’s ‘whatever I can find’ or ‘whatever I can budget for’. Then it’s ’sure would be nice if I could get one other form factor’… and soon you’re trying to fill in the blanks you never knew you cared about. For me, the pinstriped PS-3-1 was never a priority.
