A few loose ends are tied up

I love these pencils

No one does graphics as well as Tombow

I have two others to add here but it looks really good without them.

The 85 is a far better pencil, but as you know, I need my 0.9.

I’ve not come across any like the “does this still happen in 2025” thread but I am happy to get what I got

Very nice collection! I agree, TOMBOW has done a very nice job with their graphics. Nice to see another collector appreciating the Mono Delta.
I particularly like their geometric patterns. I have only a few. This is someone else’s photo:

My favorite of the Mono Delta series is the all steel model, ¥1500 (I don’t know the model number):

I’ve not seen that one I don’t think. I have an all steel one that @ulfesharpe sent to me with a few pencils ( one of the Faber) I don’t think it’s that one though. Tombows mechanism even on the two plastic cap ones (they’re so nice to write with) is so tight and not clunky

That would be the MONO Δ SH-1500MD, c. 1977–81.
The others are SH-700MD (plastic grip) and SH-1000MD (all-alu + printed grip stripes).
For the matching ballpoints, swap ‘BC’ for ‘SH’.

Did you actually pull this from the TOMBOW website? When I search online, the image search results only came up with your original Knockology posting. I later found it on a blog where someone reviewed a Mono Delta SH-1000MD (HERE). Anyway, I submitted an inquiry to Tombow in hopes of getting a higher resolution copy. I have to imagine they must have a copy somewhere… and that it’s all up to the customer service person’s resolve to go find it.:wink:
