Managed to land a Sharp 7 recently and decided to have it join my trio of Pilot H-215 / HP-20RK-05. The 7 was too fuddy duddy (to me) when they were still listed semi-regularly and now they’re just unicorns in the mechanical pencil wilderness.

I can’t believe there’s always random colors in addition to the black on all of the pencils I like.
The list of (I have to remember to keep an eye out, and maybe try to search for that) gets unmanageable!
I have the black one and I really like the feel of the plastic.
I took a chance on buying it because the listing specifically said it was a triangle.
¥3100 and no real competition and it was mine.
The Pentel 7 is not a unicorn per se, as much as it’s a very expensive piece of history. I want to have one but only for a price that will never be found while looking for it intentionally.
It will have to be one of the ones that I just randomly see for a wildly low price while probably looking for a Mitsubishi! (Because the crazy low priced finding are NEVER marked with the proper identification)

I actually got mine on eBay UK of all places… about £32 or 43 USD. Not exactly cheap but not astronomical…
