Very nice site!
Replaced it on an actual pencil or in Photoshop?
If on an actual pencil, how are you getting it on there?
Tombow Turkey are an interesting bunch. Back in the 2000’s it was obvious that quite a lot of Tombow Turkey’s pencils were rebranded or modified clones of Staedtler, Faber-Castell, etc so I asked Kotobuki if they were making them. Kotobuki replied they made a lot of pencils for Tombow Japan, and that in Turkey Tombow had an exclusive local agent “Serve” who did all the importing and distributing for them. Due to the requirements of the Turkish market, the agent was allowed to to order any pencil that Kotobuki manufactured and have them apply Tombow branding, hence lots of “Turkey only” Tombow pencils. Example Tombow Cool, which is a version of Kotobuki Penac NP-K Trifit 500 or NP-Trifit 500 and also sold to Staedtler and lots of others.
Does that mean Kotobuki made the Tombow LX? and the 0.6 Non-Stop?
Could it be that they are simply rounding it up to 0.6? I read somewhere standard 0.5 is actually a lead stick with ø 0.56 - 0.58mm.
No, the 0.6mm is a different size, it has no overlap with the 0.5mm tolerances, which as you say really mean we should be calling it 0.6mm
I don’t know about those specifically, but what I would say is that if it is a Tombow pencil in Turkey, and it is made in Japan, and it is not sold in Japan by Tombow, then I would certainly bet you $10 that Kotobuki made it. I’d even go so far as 10 or your real American dollars
Boy this is so close to the image my memory insists on having seen years ago… It’s like I’m in front of that listing again. (Aaand here is the moment my brain starts to hurt.)
Basically, I’m having a dejà vu of something I probably never experienced. Interesting sensation.
I found the actual font, created it as a Word file, and printed it while adjusting the letter spacing.
I can upload the file if you want.
Printed on sticker paper for printers.
Yes, please upload the file, and if you have a link to the sticker paper, I would appreciate it.
I have always wanted to create a P204 on the green P205 body.
I was on the verge of doing that. I was talking to a company that does UV printing and would have printed on the barrel of the P200, but in the end I found it too expensive (if I remember correctly it was around 70 Euro for two prints).
We should do a group order to bring the price down
That would be a possibility, but the print alone is not enough. I was planning to use the barrel of a green P205 and the mechanism of the P203, on which I widened the clamp. That leaves the tip – sacrificing a PG4 for that is an expensive pleasure.
I’m thinking a simple workaround is just to use a 0.5 tip… I’m totally ok with a little wobble.
I don’t think the threads on a PG4 will mate with a P205… but if it did, I’d just swap them for when I want to use that custom P204.
This is all maded by me. not Real One.
Well actually… in South Korea, there is a “Dong-A Jedo 0.4” which is copy version of P20x series.
(글자 하나하나 내 마음을 담아 : 네이버 블로그)
so… we use it to make PG4 mechanism or use it as a spare of PG1804 PG4 etc…
And here is the logo File. I made it…
1.pdf (109.5 KB)
Also the sticker A4 for printer… use something similar to this.

Is this pencil still available?
They do – the tips are identical except for the sleeve (and probably the retainer).
Well… It isn’t producing anymore.
You can buy it at secondary market in South Korea such as 중고나라, 샤프거래소 etc.
It only price about 10USD.
I would like to add one thing: I don’t think the 0.5mm mechanism will properly hold a 0.4mm sharp lead.
