I wish someone would do an interview with the team that designed the rOtring Core writing instrument line.

I’m getting way off topic now, but in South Africa, there is an ethnic group known as ‘Coloureds’. In America, that’s a highly racist term, but it SA, it’s an official government designation and it’s used by people of all races to refer to said ethnic group.
While the term undoubtedly has racist roots, it’s now genuinely neutral and free from racist connotations. It usually refers to a person who is neither black nor white, and often their roots lie in the slave trade that our country unfortunately had a massive role in.
It’s always interesting when tourists visit the country and hear the it for the first time - it takes a lot of explaining.
