and one that doesn’t take up too mich space
Updated with the latest Itoya Warm Gray – a really elegant new color that is like a darker version of the Tokyu Hands champagne gold. Here are some shots with it and some other gray and silvers:
Very nice. I was taking some notes with my green and gold 925 last week and loved the feel. It definitely felt better than writing with the KT metal.
I thinks its finally time for me to go for this, thanks for the comparison it really helps.
Btw do you happen to have any spares on the black and gold china limited?
Sorry bud, I don’t. When I first started collecting these I struggled with whether I should try and get two of each one so I would always have a spare, however I quickly realized that wasn’t really feasible (or sane) and so normally just purchase singles. I think the “get a spare” mentality works best for those items that you would actually be using and these are for eyeballs only. The 925 35 I use is the all black 0.5/0.3 and have them all over the place.
That use and “get a spare” is what I do, plus if it is boxed sets, I will get 2 sets, one to keep complete plus one for my collection.
Otherwise I am now at buy 1 for my collection.
Does that make four, if you intend to use it and it has nice packaging?
No. I don’t tend to use modern pencils, and especially not the limited editions.
My favorite pencils to use are the executive style pencils from the 1970’s, especially the Pentel P3005 Scepter.
I have my order in!
Can’t find it in my searches
It’s not actually for sale until tomorrow morning but Teresa is going to pick one up for me.
Roger roger.
Honestly, I think this is yet another line of pencils I have to resist.
Resist being a completist with everything for sure, but that shouldn’t stop you from picking up some colors that you like. Some of my favorites are the currently available ones.
I have 3 or 4, including the green and the bronze. Pretty happy with those, especially with the writing experience.
