My only explanation of why would someone change the inner tube is that someone ended up with too many Pentels than they have wished for, took all inner mechanisms out, didn’t know what they’re doing, then put everything back randomely!

These are all date coded between 77-79. Not all of them have the size mold mark though, which would indicate the difference between generation 3 and 4. Thanks to @DarkwingDuck for sending me the 0.3.
Pretty sure I’ll keep looking for them now, have to complete those generation sets 
I also have a 2nd gen 0.5 in burgundy, and four gen 1b (all 0.5, one in burgundy, three in black).

Something about a model pencil side by side with as many other colors of that model as possible is so perfect looking, it’s like the asmr stuff, it’s very pleasing and relaxing to look at.
