Pens and Pencils on my desk

What is the make/model of the bottommost pencil in your last image??

Is that a BOXY?

BOXY M5-150BX - very similar to the basic M5-100BX except for the removable clip.

I’ve seen a blue suntan for auction before (the 0.5) but NEVER a yellow (0.3). I’m assuming they made one since this is the “Pro” version of their Hi-Fit drafting line.

Anyone able to share any insight?

What I find crazy is Zebra’s commitment to keeping this line alive. The Tect2way, the Tect and finally the Tect2way light (which is my favorite of the three).

Is it really THAT big of a money maker?

I think the Pentels focusing on the Yomiuri Giants are so cool!

If you open the Giants pencil, take a good picture for the book, please? The YGQ1 pics I have are not very good.

Flat-C and Needle-Point in cellophane. Nice.

I see you got hold of the non-AUDEE rubber grip drafter! TRAD’s proportions remind me of the old Pilot Custom in wood with golden accents…

Yes! It’s actually not bad. The click action is a little “tinny” sounding but the grip feels very nice.

The PILOT Custom is a better build, but also at a much higher price point. Still, the TRAD is pretty cool. I’ll have to do a montage photo shoot of the two color options and disassembled. Did you catch the box? That was for just the one ballpoint TRAD. Kind of a silly worded paragraph. It suggests to me it was worded in Japanese first and then translated to English.

My pair of gunmetal TRADs is still backlogged for my weekly rotation… looking forward to your photos.
