New pencil storage

Can you share what anthracite models you have here? 400? Tikky? Esprit?

They’re both 400’s; the pencil in 0.5 on the left and the chonky-boi multi pen on the right.

The pencil I came across locally and the multi pen was a lucky find on Mercari.

And the slim one should be an automatic, correct?

Yes, that one’s an Automatic.

I find it underwhelming, but the finish is certainly beautiful.

Thanks, @Stu.

@Heath, was there a drafting tip 400 in anthracite?

I don’t think so.

@Stu - Any chance you could share where you found the drawer pulls for your cabinet? Thanks! -Erskine

Heyo, sure:

That’s a German site, so not sure it’ll be much use to you. However, you’re very likely to find something identical if you google ‘knurled drawer pulls’.
Brass versions are nice, but on the pricier side. Mine are cheaper, being made of aluminium, but they still feed really premium.

Thanks, I’m new to the forum. A little shy.
Yes, I make the odd brass pencil and pen on a mini-lathe that’s currently in my kitchen over in London UK. The pencils are all with a simple 2mm clutch mechanism that I use myself on wood because I make kitchens and furniture by day. Recently I got a small batch of pocket pencils cnc’d and then laser etched by a nice laser dude in Oxford. Spent a while trying to package them nicely and have since been hand finishing and playing around with the patina on the brass…

Whenever I read the words “odd”, “brass”, and “pencil” in the same sentence, I’m hooked. I like your Fibonacci models — a lot.

Time to start saving money for yet another adventure…
